Hike closed as soon as Signal arrives, no longer exists on Google play store


Hike CEO Kavin Bharti Mittal announced earlier this year that he was going to close hike forever. Instead, the company is soon preparing to market some new products. Now the hike messaging app has been officially discontinued. After which it has been removed from Google Play Store or App Store and users will no longer be able to download it. But their data will be available for download in the app.

Hike CEO Kavin Bharti Mittal, through a post on Twitter, briefed about the closure of Hike and said, “Now is the time for us to bid farewell to the hike. Thank you for your love, faith and support. With this, the company has also asked users to contact us on this ID for any kind of problem.

Signal and Telegram getting popular

Users are now turning to signal and Telegram apps amid the ongoing controversy over Whatsapp’s privacy policy. It is difficult to make your place for the homegrown app Hike between these apps. Mittal has also said that unless there is a ban on western companies, the hike and other Indian messaging telegrams and signals cannot be countered.

Hike to bring new products

With the announcement of the closure of Hike, the company has also clarified that it is preparing to bring some of its new products to the market in 2021. Of these, Rush and Vibe have been introduced. Rush is a gaming platform where users will be able to enjoy carrom and Ludo. Vibe is a community platform and users will have to apply first to join the service.
